Final Inspection Checks the Order Against the Approved Sample
Final inspection is the stage where finished candle vessels are checked against the specifications and physical sample approved before bulk production.
At Vessaro’s Chaozhou production base, ceramic candle vessels move through dimensional, appearance and order-specific checks before they are released for packing. The exact inspection points depend on what was confirmed for the project, including vessel dimensions, glaze or surface finish, logo, lid and packaging requirements.
Glass, tin and cement container programs supplied through approved partner factories follow the same specification-based principle: the finished order is reviewed against the confirmed model, sample and agreed requirements before shipment release.
Dimensions, Opening and Vessel Profile
Dimensions are important because small changes can affect more than the appearance of the container.
Depending on the project, inspection may review:
- Overall height
- Body diameter
- Opening diameter
- Vessel profile
- Rim condition
- Fit with an approved lid or accessory
The approved drawing, specification or sample is used as the reference.
For vessels with matching lids, opening dimensions and rim profile need particular attention because dimensional variation can affect seating and alignment. The dimensions established during Forming & Drying remain relevant through the final inspection stage.
Glaze, Surface and Appearance Inspection
Ceramic vessels are also checked visually after firing and finishing.
Inspection may cover glaze consistency, gloss or matte appearance, visible surface defects, color direction, rim appearance and overall workmanship. Ceramic processing can create reasonable variation, so production is assessed against the approved fired sample and agreed appearance range.
The final result should remain consistent with the surface reference established during Glazing & Surface Finishing and subsequent firing.
Where decoration is included, logo position, orientation and visible appearance can also be checked against the approved sample.
Lid, Logo and Order-Specific Checks
Final inspection should reflect the actual purchase specification rather than use the same checklist for every order.
If a project includes branding or accessories, checks may include:
- Logo position and alignment
- Decoration appearance
- Lid fit and seating
- Vessel and lid color combination
- Labels or barcode placement
- Agreed packaging configuration
Inspection requirements are therefore established from the confirmed order details before production begins.
Packing Verification Before Shipment Release
Finished vessels still need to be protected correctly after inspection.
Packing checks can cover individual protection, dividers, inner boxes, master cartons, labels, carton markings and quantities. Fragile ceramic vessels require packing that considers product dimensions, vessel weight and the selected shipping method.
Orders are released for export only after the applicable product and packing requirements have been reviewed.

Inspection Information Buyers Should Confirm
For an OEM or bulk order, buyers should clearly confirm the dimensions, acceptable appearance reference, logo details, lid requirements, packaging specification and any additional inspection points before mass production.
Third-party inspection or product-specific testing can also be arranged when required by the order specification or destination market. The applicable scope should be confirmed before production so the inspection plan matches the buyer’s actual acceptance requirements.
